Nurses receive 'coaching' award

For the past year, Baycrest
nurses who hold management positions have been learning coaching and mentoring skills from Goldgrab Leadership Coaching so they can be more effective communicators and
team builders with nurses who report to them.

The International Coach Federation (ICF), Toronto Chapter, honored nurses at Baycrest Centre for Geriatric
Care as a finalist for the Prism
Award.
The Prism Award recognizes a company or organization for its commitment to
a coaching style of management that moves
away from the traditional, hierarchical paradigm to team
based, collaborative decision-making.
